**Jennifer only conducts Telehealth sessions. **
Telehealth can look slightly different from in-person, but it can also be highly beneficial for clients. Jennifer believes that Telehealth gives her clients more flexible availability and accessibility that integrates into her client’s daily life seamlessly. When you don’t have to worry about travel time or road conditions or how a session can possibly fit into all the hustle and bustle of your schedule, clients’ attention can shift to what they would like to focus on in session. The goal in counseling is that the client can transfer their skills and knowledge into their daily life. By conducting Telehealth sessions, it is easier to implement these skills and knowledge with the confidence of Jennifer’s guidance and coaching.
Telehealth session allows Jennifer to add different components to therapy such as completing exposures for OCD within stressful environments, taking a mindfulness exercise outdoors for an additional calming element, or being able to suggest clients to get a soothing item when discussing difficult topics. Telehealth provides freedom to be flexible within sessions to reach the client’s desired treatment goals.
Telehealth sessions with Jennifer can also include skill building, psycho education catered to each client, thought and emotional processing, and support during the ups and downs that come along with change. Jennifer recognizes that making the decision to attend therapy, can come with worries of being judged or that your “problem” is hopeless. Jennifer strives to meet clients where they are at and then begin moving forward together. Clients do not need to work on this journey by themselves, Jennifer will provide individualized support to help clients reach their desired goals.
