Carrie’s primary focuses are on teens and adults who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and OCD. Her own therapeutic journey began when Carrie was a teen, which not only began her passion and desire for becoming a counselor, but inspired her to want to help teens navigate their stress. Carrie also works with couples who are struggling with relationship concerns, and focuses on building trust and communication skills with partners.
Carrie strives to create a collaborative relationship with clients through ensuring your comfort throughout a session, knowing that therapy can often be the first awkward step toward a brighter future. Carrie is currently training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) treatment, as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), but she also values the use of existential theory and mindfulness in sessions. Carrie is focused to help you recognize that even if you feel you’ve hit rock bottom, that there’s no way but up, and together you can set up the ladder to begin climbing towards your goals. Are you ready to start your new healing journey? Contact Carrie or In Focus Counseling at (720) 295-9522 to schedule an in-person or online session.
Carrie is able to see clients in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and Florida.
