Christine joined In Focus Counseling as an anxiety specialist and also treats obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) utilizing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She will work with you to gain new tools that address anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and stress which may be holding you back from pursuing your goals in life.
Christine specializes in helping clients develop skills to manage the difficult periods in life, expand self-awareness and gain self-confidence utilizing acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy and other evidence-based treatment approaches. Christine also has created a Four Week Mindfulness Therapy offering to help those who have always wondered what therapy is like, how it can help, and develop new skills to bring awareness to the present moment! We are proud to welcome Christine to the In Focus team. Christine graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1995 and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Northwestern University in Chicago in 2000. Christine has worked with adults and young adults alike, in both academic and in-patient settings. Also, Christine developed a career in small business management and is a proud parent to her son and daughter.
